A fabulous vintage 10ct gold ring with large blue stone. The stone was bought as paste and I haven’t tested it so selling it as such. It is stamped “10k” on the inside of the shank, denoting that it is 10ct gold and probably of continental or American origin.
The stone is a beautiful brilliant blue which is very hard to capture in photographs! I have tried to show it in different lights here. It doesn’t have the most even cut but has a magnificent swimming pool sparkle that makes you want to dive straight into it!
It’s in very good vintage condition. There are a few bites to the edges of the table facet, around the crown and one underneath the stone. The claws are in good condition and the stone is completely secure in its setting.
Size: it’s slightly oval, between K 1/2 - L (UK) / 5.5 - 5.75 (US)
Stone diameter: 1.45cm
Weight: 6.8g
Please note that any boxes in the photos are for display purposes only and not included in the sale of this piece although it will be sent securely in a new good quality jewellery box.
