Harding and Griffin - Layaway Terms

Thank you for choosing Harding and Griffin. We understand that budgeting for certain purchases can be challenging, and we are pleased to offer a layaway option to make your desired items more accessible. Please carefully read the layaway terms outlined below:
Eligibility:
Layaway is available for orders with a minimum total value of £200.
Layaway Duration:
The layaway period is 3 months.
The layaway period begins on the date of the first payment.
Down Payment:
A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total order value is required to initiate the layaway plan.
The deposit is due at the time of initiating the layaway.
Subsequent Payments:
Two equal monthly payments are required for the duration of the layaway plan, each spaced one month apart. You will have one month to complete each of these two remaining payments.
Payment Methods:
Payment will be taken through the usual methods on the website. The item will be listed for each payment for the amount required.
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the selected payment method has sufficient funds on the scheduled payment dates.
Late Payments:
Late payments may result in the cancellation of the layaway plan.
If a payment is more than 30 days overdue, the layaway plan may be cancelled, and the item will be made available for other customers.
Cancellation:
Layaway plans can be cancelled at any time by the customer.
If the layaway plan is cancelled, the customer will refunded for the amount paid minus the initial non-refundable down payment.
Item Release:
The item(s) will be shipped only after the final payment has been received.
Refunds:
Layaway payments are non-refundable, except as specified in the cancellation clause.
Availability:
Items on layaway are not reserved until the down payment is received.
Terms Agreement:
By opting for the layaway plan, customers agree to abide by these layaway terms.

Eligibility for Refunds:
Refunds are only applicable to items purchased directly from Harding and Griffin.
To be eligible for a refund, items must be in their original condition, unused, and with all original packaging.
Refund Timeframe:
If you desire a refund, please contact us within 7 days of receiving the item. The returned item must be shipped back to us within 14 days of receiving it.
Refunds will be processed within 7 days of receiving the returned item. The time it takes for the refund to be reflected in your account may vary depending on your payment method.
Refund Method:
Refunds will be issued in the original form of payment or as a store credit, as per the customer's preference.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable. Buyers are responsible for all return postage fees, including return import fees.
Damaged or Defective Items:
If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us within 2 days of receiving the item with photographic evidence.
We will provide instructions for returning the item or, if possible, offer a replacement.
