A wonderful vintage 9ct gold match box charm with enamel label and paper strike. The box opens to reveal six tiny matches inside!
 
The enamel and paper strike both have some wear as you can see in the photos.
 
The charm is hallmarked on the bottom for 9ct gold, London, 1961.
 
The jump ring bale seems to have been cut (probably from a charm bracelet at some point). A new one could easily be added by a jeweller if required.
