A beautifully hand engraved Victorian silver and gilt vinaigrette.
 
Gorgeous floral repoussé work on the exterior, serpentine form and inscribed on the top: “ECW XMAS 1897”. The interior is gilded and some remnants of gilt in the depressions on the exterior. The hand pierced grille and lid both close firmly. Has a pendant loop so can be worn on a chain.
