A beautiful Victorian 12ct gold flat cut garnet and seed pearl locket brooch/pendant.
The depth of the locket is quite slim - perfect for a photo or small lock of hair but too slim for loose gems to make a shaker locket.

In good antique condition. The front glass has been replaced as was missing and jump rings added to the already existing safety chain (missing) loop to create a pendant bale. One pearl slightly darker than the rest so a probabkh replacement (not done by us). Nibbles and wear to the garnets as to be expected but all stones secure in their settings. Locket back open and closes firmly. Traces of gold solder on the back. The pin and rivet are base metal.
