A beautiful brushed (semi-matte) platinum wedding band set with 9 (3x3) diamonds in a rolled channel. It has a square/flat profile on top but a very comfortable light court fitting inside.
 
Fully hallmarked for 950 platinum.
 
The makers, Brown and Newirth, were established in 1967 in Hatton Garden, London, and are still producing beautiful contemporary jewellery today and are known for their high quality craftmanship. I used to work in an independent jewellers 20 years ago and we stocked Brown and Newirth wedding rings, including this beauty and back then, a new one would retail at about £1,100. I remember clearly because I always loved this design! Platinum prices have fluctuated since then and unfortunately this is no longer being made so I can’t give an up-to-date new retail price.
 
It’s in excellent pre-loved condition with light surface wear/patina. It could be polished to make the surface shiny or polished and re-finished to make it look completely matte. There are no major scratches or wear, just a gentle wear to the surface. All diamonds are present, original and secure in their settings.
