A beautiful Georgian 18ct gold (tested) pearl and diamond ring, circa 1810-20.
The ring has beautiful repoussé floral shoulders that taper down to a reeded shank at the back. Sadly, the original locket back has been lost over its lifetime.
The natural pearls make up the petals of the gorgeous central flower, and in the centre, a sparkly rose cut diamond.
The inside of the shank shows evidence of a personal inscription but this has been worn down and now is illegible.
One of the pearls is a replacement and on close inspection there is a small amount of glue visible. Light wear to the gold, pearls and diamond, commensurate with age.
