A beautiful Art Deco diamond shaped ring in 18ct gold, platinum and diamond.

Stamped “18 & Pt” and a maker’s mark, “P.P.Ld” for Payton, Pepper & Sons Ltd., of Vyse Street, Birmingham who were established at the end of the 19th century.

The ring is set with five old cut diamonds, the central one a little larger than the others and draws slightly colour. Tapered shoulders highlight the wonderful diamond shape of the ring.

The estimated total carat weight of the diamonds is 0.20ct. The measurements were taken in the settings so this is only approximate.

It’s in very good condition. The solid shank is in great condition, evidence of a past resizing at the back. There is a small chip visible under magnification to the central diamond but this isn’t visible when worn.

Size: P 1/2 (UK) / 7.75 (US)

Head of ring: 9.5mm x 9.5mm approx.

Weight: 2.6g
