A beautiful delicate pair of drop earrings that dance delightfully when worn set with twinkling white paste stones and that gorgeous pop of cornflower blue paste at the ends. They were made circa 1910. They originally had screw-back fittings but I have had these replaced with sterling silver hooks for the modern wearer.
The earrings test as silver, except for the little disc on the back of each top white paste stone. In very good antique condition, a few small nibbles to the stones, visible under magnification. Minor surface wear commensurate with age.
The blue paste have a brighter, more solid hue when seen on a solid background, lighter and more transparent when worn.
Total length with hooks: 4.8cm
Length from top paste stone to the bottom of the blue stones: 3.4cm
Blue paste: 8.3mm x 5.4mm
Weight, each: 1.3g
Weight, total: 2.6g
