A gorgeous antique pendant with seed pearl set swallow carrying an amethyst drop circa 1910. On a new 9ct gold 18” chain.
 
Stamped “9ct” on the back. Looks to have been gilded in a higher fineness of gold, quite usual at the time, partly worn.
In very good antique condition, pearls all present and original. The amethyst has a chip to the right, not noticeable when worn. Light surface wear commensurate with age. Tiny amounts of solder visible where the bird meets the circular frame but only on close inspection.
