A lovely and very tactile (smooth!) antique signet ring with beautifully engraved monogram - possibly FJ?
 
Hallmarked 9ct gold, Birmingham 1916, the maker’s mark is unfortunately worn and illegible.
 
It’s in very good antique condition with minor surface wear, commensurate with age, the edges (particularly the top) of the initials are worn. There is evidence of a former resizing at the back of the shank. It’s very smooth and comfortable to wear.
