A beautiful late Victorian 18ct gold ring set with three cabochon opals, one oval flanked by two rounds all in starburst settings.
 
It is stamped “18c” twice inside the shank. One of the smaller opals has a large-ish by shallow chip at one edge. It is visible with the naked eye but the beautiful colour play of the opal disguises it almost completely. I have tried to capture it the best I can in the photos. Otherwise, the ring is in very good antique condition with just minor wear to the gold, commensurate with age.
